No21 Painted Furniture - A Polished Finish

A pine replica fire surround painted and aged in the ever popular grey tones. It took several layers of paint, and wax to create an authentic looking piece for our client. This paint effect works really well when their is a detailed relief pattern.

This period chest of drawers was very tired, beyond restoration. Our customer wanted to update this very useful piece to match their bedroom colour scheme. After painting we rubbed it back in places to create an aged appearance, linking with the metal draw handles, and waxed to a polished finish, perfect to highlight the serpentine shaped draws.

Colours of London - Coordinated Painted Furniture

Painting a home in new colours can often result in updating the furniture too. Our client already owned this old chest of drawers and two modern bedside drawers. We used Mylands - Blackout, to coordinate the furniture with the colour scheme in his bedroom. Loving the dark contemporary paint colours from www.mylands.com

We are frequently asked to paint chest of drawers - draws often require carpentry work to enable them to open smoothly e.g. replacing draw guides.
