Having started my career in fashion and first job in footwear, my passion for shoes has always remained. As a designer I spent hours in the Clarks Shoe Museum and Bath Museum of Costume looking for inspiration. I have collected shoes from a child with fond memories of rummaging at jumble sales for treasures. I have shoes by Mary Quant, Biba and crazy examples of 1970's patchwork all in storage. It is a long way from what I do now but every now and again a shoe appears!
