Lime-Washed Engineered Oak Flooring.

No21 Painting was originally known for limewashed finishes on furniture, we are now pleased to put this technique into practice on oak floorboards.

This project was for J.M Lee Construction's Award-winning Barn Conversion. Their client asked for a softened, smoky effect rather than the manufacturers contrasting limewash.

The finished result highlighted the grain in the oak, and with No21's secret recipe we achieved a greyed off effect to coordinate with Little Greene French Grey wall colour.

No21 Painted Furniture - A Polished Finish

A pine replica fire surround painted and aged in the ever popular grey tones. It took several layers of paint, and wax to create an authentic looking piece for our client. This paint effect works really well when their is a detailed relief pattern.

This period chest of drawers was very tired, beyond restoration. Our customer wanted to update this very useful piece to match their bedroom colour scheme. After painting we rubbed it back in places to create an aged appearance, linking with the metal draw handles, and waxed to a polished finish, perfect to highlight the serpentine shaped draws.
